Under Law 3389/2005 (Government Gazette, Issue A, No. 232) on public private partnerships, the Ministry of Justice, Transparency and Human Rights (MJTHR), following a tender procedure, assigned to the special purpose company Profile Digital Services SA the implementation of the project ‘Digital recording, saving and distribution of court hearing transcripts under a public-private partnership’.

The objective of the project is the development of an IT system for the digital recording, archiving and distribution of court hearing transcripts and the digital recording, archiving and distribution of the hearing transcripts of the courts of appeal (civil and criminal), the courts of first instance, and the courts of peace throughout the country, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Integrated Court Transcripts System’ or ‘ICTS’. The project includes both the procurement and installation of all necessary equipment as well as the provision of services for the transcription of the recorded court hearings.

 

 

ITML undertook the creation and establishment of the appropriate infrastructure in all courts of the country using the Puppet software. The infrastructure was designed a high level of availability in all the structural operating levels of the system with a high degree of fault tolerance and no single-point-of-failure.
