The European Conference on EDGE AI Technologies and Applications (EEAI) served as a European forum for sharing the latest scientific research and industry results using edge AI technologies and applications. Its scope covered the edge AI technology stack following emerging research and innovation from hardware to software, edge AI frameworks, architectures, algorithms, data types and methods to applications.
EEAI 2024 was a great opportunity to:
- Gain insights on the latest advancements in Edge AI
- Network with fellow experts and build valuable connections
- Participate in strategic discussions shaping the future of this field
During the EEAI 2024 conference, ITML’s R&D Director, George Bravos, delivered an insightful presentation on the Value Chain Demonstrator 4.2, highlighting the potential of edge-oriented distributed architecture for urban air quality predictions. This use case focuses on real-time air quality monitoring and prediction leveraging AI models trained on data gathered from a network of environmental sensors deployed on Road-Side Perception Units (RSPUs) in Riga city.
Additionally, during the General Assembly meeting, ITML, as the WP7 leader, presented recent advancements and future plans for dissemination and communication activities. ITML and CONV also shared a questionnaire to gather partner feedback on the conference and identify areas for improvement.
